Somewhere out there is a high school senior who is writing “the Great Gatsby is a cartoon about a guy who committed crimes to get this chick.” I just saw on a Ted Talk, yeah, I watch Ted Talks, mostly because I like to say “Ted Talk”. They say IQ’s are going up. I don’t know man, I bet the guy who has the actual IQ numbers was like “aaaah, just say it’s going up, who’s going to know? Seriously? Who has time to add up all these IQ’s and for that matter, to check to make sure the way we measure IQ’s is even right. I’m going to bump it up, like a smidge. Who’s gonna notice a smidge? Nobodies, fer reals.“
Man if you watch the youtube of The Great Gatsby, you don’t even have to hide the copy of cliff notes you bought. You can just clear your browser history and you are good to go. And then you don’t get caught cheating and then they don’t double check to see if you cheated on your IQ test and then…. You see what I’m getting at.

I just spent about a half hour going from Youtube video to Youtube video. It was pretty good. I’m going to probably play a video game soon.

I watched a documentary on the Sex Pistols last night. Very little banjo.
I also went to Lincoln. I was pretty uncomfortable watching people having to really, really argue whether or not some other people were actually people. I believe the term to describe such a mindset would be “hubris.” Also alarming how close the vote to repeal slavery was. It was a real squeeker. We really enjoyed slaves. A bunch. Fer Reals.
